SINGING INTO THE BONES
During the ceremony, Rebozo, which are traditional Mexican fabrics, were used to tightly wrap the woman's body, particularly her hips, to restore their correct alignment. The aim of this ritual was to help women realign them selves, reclaim their female bodies, and rejuvenate their vitality. The purpose of this ceremony was to nurture the woman after childbirth, from her journey as a woman to her new role as a mother.
